ARE YOU/WE TRULY LISTENING?

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”- Albert Einstein
You've heard it said, "The question is not who does God talk to, but who listens." And it’s true God is communicating continually, all of the time heaven is sending inspiration, guidance and love to, and for each of us in every moment of our lives. We don't seem to recognise these communications for what they really are, assuming that they are even noticed (and most of the time, they are not) we give them a multitude of names anything else but the truth of what they are (communications from God).

It's amazing how so many people perform any number of tactics and mental gymnastics to avoid the truth of the communications sent to them from the heavenly source. We have become increasingly expert in the deception of ourselves as to the originator of these inspirations/instructions. We're screaming at God, Why don't you answer? Where the f**k are you? HELP ME!!! (I used asterisk, I was NOT swearing! :P)

He does answer, he is with us always, we have just become so adept at giving the experience any label but "God", or even ignoring them. I'm sure we're all familiar with phrases like, "I guess, I just got lucky!” or "It just seems to be..." preferring to believe that whatever happened was merely random chance as apposed to being the longed for communications from our creator, the creator of life.

We struggle so much with the situations and problems of life and the questions that arise from them, God/Life that inner voice provides the guidance and inspiration for the everyday and the unusual, the mundane and the magical. It’s the summer breeze that brings that sudden moment of genius, that song on the radio or the smile of a stranger. The question you ask one day may be answered the next day by the perfect author who wrote the perfect book that answers your question perfectly.

The trick is not to stress yourself too much in the search for your answers, or try to force life’s events in a direction they don’t want to go or make things happen too quickly. Truly listening to life brings the realization that the events, experiences and answers you are looking for will happen at the right and perfect time for them to happen. In fact, struggling and forcing the issue may have he effect of slowing down or even preventing those things from happening at all.

“Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you.”- The Nag Hammadi Library

Now, here’s the tuff part, we need the courage to act on the inspirations and the guidance we receive. These urgings are there to help us on life’s journey, they are there to help us grow, to become a more fully realized person and dare I say to help us evolve. It is to our advantage to listen to and trust these intuitive messages that have their origins beep within.

God has the whole multi-media magnificence of the whole of creation to communicate with, the complete bandwidth, every parallel reality and every dimension is his to play with at will. He can arrange anything, from the smallest particle to the grandest star, from the tiniest ant to the most imposing of elephants, anything, and everything at all and it’s all at the behest of the almighty just so he can let you know that you haven’t been forgotten.

So, be on the lookout, pay close attention and listen to the people and events of life as they cross your path, you may find just what you’ve been looking for. And, perhaps when that magical moment comes, the realization that it was right in front of you all along.

Searching for Wholeness (Part 2 - Physical Wholeness)

Physical wholeness from a spiritual perspective - Nothing Missing, Nothing Broken!

3 John 1:2(NIV) "Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well."

Physical wholeness from a spiritual perspective - Nothing Missing, Nothing Broken! That is how it should be during our physical existence here on the Earth and not a life of pain, disease and suffering, but a life of abundant vitality and strength. If those dreams we all have to live a full rich life filled with love and joyous experiences are ever to come to fruition, then health and wholeness is essential -- big changes will have to be made; your old lifestyle will no longer cut it.

This is a journey from fear and sickness, to hope and a desire to be healthy, from faith that you will, sometime in the future experience the miracle of physical wholeness to the knowing and experiencing of yourself in a state of optimal health and physical wholeness.

This journey, this process of transformation is as much a renewing, expanding and transforming of the mind, as it is the body. It is an enlarging and expanding of what is possible for you, towards the realization that not only is anything and everything possible for you, but that it already lives and exists just waiting for your claiming of it. Everything of course, includes the literal and complete wholeness of your physical form, the vibrant, energetic you really does already exists in your spirit as potential just aching to be actualized and manifested as and in the material form that is your bodily home in this life.

Realize it is more than just possible to actualise and make real the manifestation of physical wholeness, it is your destiny. But first, there is something you need to know before you can manifest wholeness. - Its already here, it already exists, accept it and call it yours. Of course, arriving at that destiny will require your conscious participation, it may already exist but it still requires conscious effort and intention on your part to manifest and experience what is already so.

The right attitude is essential, you have to see yourself as whole and healthy, you have to be so tired of sickness that nothing but vibrant health will do. If you are to manifest what is already so (waiting your claiming of it), you will have to cultivate a self image of vibrancy and strength. Your body will become what you believe to be true for you; your body is designed to manifest the self image you hold about yourself. Therefore, renewing your mind is absolutely essential, in fact its number one right at the top of your to do list if you are to create a new you.

Your physical form, your body and your mind, was always intended to be a perfect reflection and demonstration of God. You are not only created in God’s image, the life and the light within is God, you were made one with him and your body is meant to show that. This is why the renewing of your mind is so absolutely essential; you can’t become something that you believe yourself not to be.

Proverbs 23:7(KJV) "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he..."

Reacquainting yourself with your creator, go within and start a conscious dialog with the very wholeness you seek to manifest. Keeping a record of your interactions with your creator as a personal reference library to encourage and remind yourself as you grow. If you’re not sure where to start try beginning the conversation the same way you would begin any other conversation, just say hello and listen in your heart for the reply.

Every though, word and action should be in alignment with the truth and fact of your true identity, your true self that has always been and will always reside in and with wholeness. Set your mind on manifesting wholeness; make a decision to experience the rest of your days in this life with optimal health, focus your attention on the expression of the vibrancy that you should by now know to reside within. Feed your mind with images of health, populate your thoughts with ideas and knowledge of health - read articles and books about health, surround yourself with pictures of the healthy.

Your self talk, the way you speak to yourself and others about yourself must, MUST reflect a healthy self image, you must speak of your body in the present tense as whole and vibrantly healthy. Your mind listens to what you say about yourself and if you repeat it often enough begins to believe it and take it as true without question, so you must continuously tell the mind exactly what you want it to think.

Take positive action, change those negative, damaging habits and replace them with healthy life firming habits instead. Change your nutrition, exercise and sleep; treat your physical vessel with the love and respect it deserves. Boy, oh boy, if you could (and, by the way you can) see yourself through the eyes of your creator those damaging habits would disappear over night. If you would only perceive the truth of you from Gods perspective, the manifestation of your physical wholeness would have no choice but to “spring forth speedily.”

Isaiah 58:8 King James Version (KJV) Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward."

OR

Isaiah 58:8 New International Version (NIV) "Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard."

Now, this is worth repeating - remember: There is something you need to know before you can manifest wholeness. Its already here, it already exists, accept it and call it yours. It already exists, health is there waiting for you, it belongs to you, now take action and go get it and manifest the truth of your wholeness.

Start now, not tomorrow, not next week or when such and such happens then I can… No, start now and manifest physical wholeness, procrastination kills so do yourself a huge favour and take action today!

Searching for wholeness

It really is true, you have nothing missing and you are not broken, you are whole and complete right now just as you are. I know the prevailing paradigm of separation creates the very convincing impression that you are tiny, insignificant, woefully incomplete and separate. It is why we all go on these life long searches for that missing someone or something that will make us complete, we scour the world for the very thing the world around us cannot provide with any permanence.

The problem is we don’t know what it is that’s missing so we don’t know how to ask the questions that will finally bring us to the answer we so desperately want. If we just had the perfect home, relationship and/or body then we will be complete and happy, but of course even when we attain the perfect home, relationship or body (good luck trying for the latter) we still experience a deep sense of unease and dissatisfaction. Now, of course the right environment, positive relationships and a healthy body can help us along greatly on life’s journey but it is not the ultimate goal in life it does however help facilitate the reaching of our goals.

This missing-ness, this separation is nothing but an ingenious plot devise, a poly we use to create the scripts that become the story of our lives. When it comes down to it we’re all desperately yearning to feel a sense of satisfaction and comfort whilst being in our skin, we want to feel at home in our lives. It is the sponsoring desire and the driving force that fuels the searching that preoccupies our lives.

We’re searching in all the wrong places and for all the wrong things, we’re looking for the one thing that the material world could never supply, that feeling of completeness that comes from reconnecting to our true and authentic selves. First we need to ditch this erroneous and damaging concept of the separate individual, of the tiny insignificant, inconsequential, unimportant small little being that we think of as us. The search begins within, the journey back to the experience of wholeness that we all so desperately want lies in the recognising that you/we were never separate and never alone.

I urge you right now, to go within and begin the conversation that your heart has ached and yearned to have for your whole life, may I suggest you begin with an invitation? Start with: Father, can we talk? Followed by questions like, who am I, really? Or what is the purpose of life, anyway? It may also be a good idea to maintain a record of your interactions with your creator as a personal reference library to encourage and remind yourself as you grow.

You have now begun the exploration of the long awaited answers to those questions and you’re in the right place, you are now travelling life’s path with conscious intent making your way one step at a time, back to the truth and the bliss of your real authentic self. You are heading home back to the accepting, loving arms of your creator and to your true self; you are travelling home to oneness.

I’d hate to sound a negative or discouraging note but this is where the struggle truly begins, your ego will not like having your focus moved away from itself and to the pursuit of wholeness and acceptance but believe me the destination is so worth the long journey.

Your life long search will find its joyous resolution, you will find peace, enjoying the realization that…you never had anything missing and you were never broken and you were always whole and complete.

The day will come when you will be set free from the prevailing and stubbornly persistent illusions of the individualised and separated you -- you are about to experience and explore your wholeness, run wild in and through your completeness and luxuriate in the experience of oneness and bliss with your creator.

Continuous prayer - Part 2 Actions

Welcome to part 2 of "Continuous prayer", I'm assuming that you have read part 1 so I will skip a long introduction and jump straight in where I left off last time.

When it comes to actions we can work ourselves in to the ground trying to force life to conform to our idea of perfection, but again, if we are coming from a place of fear, of control, then we are in effect just spinning our wheels. All we end up with is angry with God and frustrated with ourselves. Now, what is we come from a place of love, of trust and faith, a place that might better be called being. True faith is a state of being, a state that says "I am" healthy, prosperous whatever right NOW, it's not something that we need to wait for, something that will be manifesting in the "future". Being will therefore automatically lead to the actions that will manifest whatever it is you wish to experience.

I know what you’re thinking, you're thinking. How do I "BE" that thing I am seeking? Ok, try a little meditation; you can call it a thought experiment if you wish which ever you feel most comfortable with. Ask yourself, what would it feel like to experience whatever it is you are looking for, once you have that in mind let it sit with you for a while (the longer, the better) so that you can experience it. After some time, when you are ready, let this place of being inform an action, let it guide you behaviour.

In some ways this could be said to be about honesty, with yourself and then be extension with everyone you meet. Trying to do your way into being only brings you back to forcing things to happen and only every produces frustration. When we begin with being (faith) we trust that life will go in the direction we want and begin to act from that position, a position the already knows that is has, that that already are what they desire. This removes all the stress and struggle, the ego takes a back seat and the process of life (God if you will) is set free to work how it was meant to. You are now set free to explode with the creativity and joy that so far has been held you back; you are now free to experience the fulfilment in your life that you were looking for all along.

Remember, all this is about the fact that our whole life is a continuous rolling prayer. Every thought, word and action is our side of an every lasting conversation with God, everything we think say or do sends a signal to heaven of what is so for us right now, not how we want it to be in the future, but what is true for us right now. That's why it is so important to pay close attention not only to thought, word and action, but to the motivation behind them.

It is the process of creation, it is live being expressed, it is God itself exploring and expressing itself. At risk of repeating myself, faith is knowing, feeling, and experiencing the thing you are "believing for" is here now. It always was, maybe it was just waiting for us to emotionally sit still long enough, to realise that all our struggling was only holding back the manifestation of our dream. If we would sit still and realise that everything is here, right now.

That's your side of the conversation, what about God's part, and the reply if you will. Spending time being quite listening for what love has to say, write it down, keep a record. This not only helps to remember but also it builds your faith if you read what was said. It is important that you listen to and apply what is said for you to take full advantage of the process.

You might be asking. So, how do I know that it is God talking and not just my imagination telling me what I want to hear? God's voice is gentle, peaceful and is jam packed with love. In fact you probably won't get the answer you want to hear but it will be what you need to hear. It will be honest, but said in such a gentle, love filled way that you could never be offended or upset. It will be so love filled even if it was not what you wanted to hear you might still respond with joy. I say might respond with joy because there are times when you will say to yourself "that can't be God" just because it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

One more thing, ultimately all this communicating with God is just you talking to yourself, or that part of yourself that knows itself as God. There is only you in the room, you are the process I've been talking about, you are life expressing itself. That's why you already have everything you could (think you) need or want, you are everything, on earth and heaven you are life itself.

Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. Please feel free to leave your comments below

Big love filled hugs,

Jason.

P.S.
I like to leave you with this bible verses: Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1Thessalonians 5:16-18

Continuous prayer - Part 1 Thoughts & Words

This is part 1 of a two part post on the subject of "Continuous prayer". You see when I had finished typing and realized how long the post was going to be I thought it might be easier to read in two chunks. Part 1 will be Thought and words, and part 2 Actions. So, that said, let’s jump right into part 1.

You know I've come to the conclusion that pray is not just a phone call we make to heaven only to leave our list of wants with God kind of like ordering a take-a-way meal. Pray is a continuous rolling conversation, everything we think, everything we say and everything we do is a pray and not just when we get down on our knees and start talking. In fact it's the process of creation, of manifesting the very deepest desires of our hearts, THOUGHT, WORD and ACTION. We can pray the most beautiful sounding pray but if our thoughts stink or our actions are sponsored by fear we cancel out the words of the pray, no matter how beautiful.

The motivation, the intent and the emotion behind our thought, words and actions, as I've just said all of the beautiful words in the world will come to zero if in your heart you are full of fear. On the other hand if your heart is full of love, or in other words faith, another word is trust. Trust (and don't doubt) that God/life/the universe will, and has already said yes to that prayer, in fact will always say yes. There is no reason for the divine to say no. If we are to experience yourself as created "in the image and likeness" of God then we must be allowed to create, express and experience yourself as the creator of that experience.

"Believe you HAVE received, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:23-25), believing that whatever your wanting is already so, not from a position of that thing being in the future but from the position of already having that thing/situation in your experience. In fact think of your dream not as a dream, but as, a memory of what is already so, a memory that is just waiting for you to catch up with it.

Now when it comes to our words, all our words must be filled with love/faith, all of them not just during a "formal" pray time. Remember pray is continuous, every word we speak is packed with creative power; everything we say has equal weight. Again we must keep in mind that behind our words there must be love, faith that what we are saying is already so present tense. Speak that you are not what you hope you might be some time in the future. Your words are not what was, not what will (or might) be, but your words are ALWAYS, always a statement of what is already so. This is so important because fear filled words work in exactly the same way, fear will attract the very thing you say that you do not want.

It seems that God/the universe doesn't hear "I don't want", all heaven ever hears is "I do want", "I am not" becomes "I am". I don't know about you, but that irritates the heck out of me, it makes me want to send an angry e-mail to "god@heaven.com", something like "What's the matter, aren't you listening". But, you see, it’s not a question of God not "listening", it’s about how the process of creation was meant to work. Maybe we should change our concept of what the God is. God is not a person, God is the process of creation itself, a process that would more accurately be called life and the process will work perfectly every time no matter how irritating we may find it.

Make a promise to yourself to only speak words filled with love, don't beat yourself up when you slip back into your old way of speaking it will take practice. Keep working at it and see how your life will change.

I think I'll leave it there for now, until part 2, God bless.

Big love filled hugs,

Jason.
